Set up by Simon Davey the British Biltong Company in Monksilver are old school Biltong producers, who are all about quality ingredients.
Originally started as a hobby supplying friends and family, it grew into the business it has become. He makes to a traditional South African recipe using all South West ingredients. The silverside beef is marinated in spices for 24 hours and after this has been washed off, it is left to dry in an industrial-sized dryer for four days.
They supply pubs, food stores, butchers and markets throughout Somerset and Devon.
